I am reloading my mac and I need to get 1Password data to sync from existing iCloud.
I have 1Password on iOS synced to iCloud, and my mac used to be synced there too. I have a full clone of my mac HD from before I erased the drive, but I can't find a .agilekeychain file on it. I have an older keychain file in dropbox that it keeps trying to sync to, even though I have deleted it from dropbox.
I just want to get 1Password synced to iCloud without losing my data. As a next step I want to try 1Password for families (already registered for trial), but first I need assistance getting my password data.
Any suggestion to:
a) Set up up directly to sync from iCloud
b) Locate the password data on my hd backup
or c) Export my password data from one of my iOS devices?
Thanks!

I think I have it solved for now. I was trying to use the downloaded version, but I reverted to the App Store version and it was able to find the iCloud data.
Still a few things I need to make sure I have figured out before I jump on the Families package.

Hi @jellsworth,
Sorry for the confusion you experienced. We are working on improving the AgileBits Store version of 1Password for Mac so that you can connect to data in iCloud right from the start. The reason for the ungainly situation we currently have is iCloud Sync support was added back into 1Password 6 but we didn't know if we were going to be able to add it when we worked on the new first-run experience. The two were worked on parallel and exclusive of each other. Now both are in 1Password it's time to make the two gel much better.
If you're considering trying out Families and have questions ask away and we'll do our best to answer all of them.
