This was reported more than a year ago and that discussion was closed (WTF?)

Don't know how to say this any more plainly: if I select "Conceal Passwords" you should not EVER be revealing passwords without my explicit permission, especially when I am doing something unrelated such as editing a note.

Yes, I know, this is not a question. Just trying to get AgileBits to take their security a bit more seriously.

    Hi @dvdsbr,

It isn't just when editing the note, it's whenever you have either the main 1Password window open or are viewing the Item Details of an item from inside 1Password mini - holding down the alt key temporarily reveals the contents of all password fields in the visible item. This is by design and intentional. We do take into account level of interest when considering requests which is why this thread will remain open and who knows, maybe there is significant demand to see this particular design decision be changed.

I can see you don't agree with the decision decision and you have the freedom to do so but it isn't a bug, it is an as-intended behaviour that has been with us since at least 1Password 3 for Mac. I can't comment much on even earlier versions I'm afraid, I only came across 1Password as a user after version 3 was released. The thread will remain open and others can post their opinion too as we do want to hear from our users
