1Password won't connect to the website for one on my logins.

With only one of my logins, clicking on the login does nothing...it doesn't connect to the site. If I go to the site it'll happily log me in.

    Hi @bmalcolm,

I'm sorry you're running into a problem with one of your Login items in 1Password!

Can you please elaborate on the exact steps you're taking to use that Login item? I'm not sure I understand what you're clicking on or where you're clicking on it. Are you doing this in the main 1Password app or in the 1Password browser extension / mini? If you can describe the exact steps you're taking, what you expect to happen, and what happens instead, we should have a much better idea of how to help you get things working again.

In addition to that, can you please let us know some details about your setup:

    Thanks in advance! :)

I'm clicking on a login in the 1Password browser extension (version 4.5.5), running Safari 9.1, under OS X 10.11.4. The 1Password app is the AgileBits version.

    The steps:
    1 - login into 1Password
2 - In Safari extension, select the problem login and click on it.
3 - I expect Safari to open a new tab and connect with the URL associated with this login item.
4 - But no action results.

This is a new problem; the login worked perfectly until about 27 March.

Thanks @bmalcolm! I'm not sure why that isn't working as expected for you, but at least we know 1Password is working in general and that this is a problem with just that one specific Login.

In case there's a problem with that one Login item, please try saving a new one by following these steps:

    • Visit the sign-in page for that site.
    • Enter your username and password, but do not submit the form.
    • Click the 1Password button in your browser. Enter your Master Password if prompted.
    • Click the gear icon (to the right of the Search field), then select Save new Login from the menu.
    • Give the new Login item a unique name to tell it apart from the old one. When you’re finished, click Save Login.
    • Refresh the website, then use the new Login item to sign in using 1Password.

Does the new Login item work correctly? Let us know how it goes, thanks! :)

Hi. Thanks, rebuilding the login item works fine now. I'll just delete the old one.

That's great news, thanks for confirming that solved the problem!

Hopefully you're all set now, but if you have more questions or need anything else, just let us know. :)
