Still cannot install Safari extension

I downloaded the Safari extension installer, uninstalled an old beta version of the extension, and restarted Safari, but I still cannot install the extension.

Hello @broogle,

Are you getting the generic "there was an error" type message? If you are I would recommend the following.

1. Confirm there is no copy of the 1Password Safari Extension installed by looking in the Extensions tab of Safari's preferences.
2. Install our 1Password Safari Extension by visiting Apple's Safari Extension Gallery, here is the URL for the 1Password Safari Extension in the Safari Extension Gallery.

Does that result in the extension being correctly installed?

That did it. I uninstalled the beta in the Extensions tab in Preferences, but evidently it did not really go away. Thanks!
