Missing 'Change Master Password' button
I would like to update my master password in 1Password 6 on my Mac. In the user guide it shows an image of the 'Change Master Password' button in the preference pane under General. Mine is missing this button so I don't know how to change it. I'm using a Family account if that makes any difference.

As usual, I can't find my answer until after I post. I found that I need to go to the Menu item 1Password 6 > Switch to Vault > Primary before the button shows up in the preference pane.

Glad that you found your answer!
Indeed that is the case if you want to change the password for your Personal Vault in 1Password.
Keep in mind that if you want to change the Master Password in your Families account you can select the "Teams" tab in preferences to change it there.
