CMD \ not filling in passwords... or issue may be I am unable to login to 1Password 6.2.

1Password 6 not working, enter my password, and the "dots" go grey with no action. Unable to install Safari plugin 4.5.5-2.

Not sure if I changed the master password (do not think so).

When I try to install the plugin 4.5.5-2, I get an error "Safari can't install this extension" - An error occurred while installing the extension "1password".

I do have the data backed up in the cloud and available from my iPhone.

Should I delete the app and reinstall?

What steps can I take to get it working again?

All The Very Best!!
Mike :-)

    Greetings @notarimb,

It sounds like you already have the 1Password Safari Extension installed and if it is then Safari does offer up a fairly generic An error occurred while installing the extension when you try to install a second copy. It would be nice if Safari was to say in this situation that a copy is already installed.

So I think the best thing to do is concentrate on the 1Password application. The issue that you describe, does it happen after a restart of your Mac? I do see the dots go grey in my copy too after I've pressed return and 1Password is unlocking the vault but this happens for only a brief period of time. So it seems in your case that something is getting stuck but the question is are we looking at some odd glitch that disappears after a restart or something that is simply blocking access completely.

If it still happens after a restart can you send us a diagnostic report please, it might be it reveals something.

This guide will assist in how to create one.

Please do not post your Diagnostics Report in the forums

The email address you will want to use is support+forum@agilebits.com.

When sending the diagnostic report to the address above it would help immensely if you could include a link to this thread and your forum handle so we can connect the two.

Once you've sent the report a post here with the ticket ID will help us to keep an eye out for it. With access to the report we should be able to better assist you
