Data File shows too many unencrypted info

Hi, I am a satisfied customer of 1P since many years. But there still is something that I need to be fixed soon.

It seems to me that the data file still keeps to many informations in simple unencrypted text, like the website url and other. If someone is looking at data file can gather much more personal infos that I would like.

Why don't you encrypt any info?

    That is EXACTLY what I was looking for. 1Password team never fails to surprise me with super strong data protection. I am using 1P since 2008 and that's why my data file is still in the old format. Now I'll follow instruction to switch to the new format.

    I think you should find a way to force the transition to all users.

    PS: does the new OP Vault format support 1Password Anywhere to open the Vault with a browser?

    Hi @jacoposilva ,

    One of the things agilekeychain allowed was the use of 1Password Anywhere due to the urls and titles. But opvault's format is not able to allow 1Password Anywhere to function.

    No. That's the downside of OPVault and the reason I stay with the agilekeychain format. Mind you, 1PW Anywhere is not being developed, and changes in Dropbox are likely to make it fail in the relatively near future.

    At present the only alternative is the very new 1PW for Families, which is a subscription service. It can be very useful for an individual, especially one who has not bought 1PW yet. I have 1PW for Mac and for iOS (with the Pro features) and I remain unconvinced that the change is worthwhile for me. But it is a personal decision, and AgileBits have stated that they will keep the basic sale option as well as the subscription.
