Expired Logins
Hi. I'm going through some of my old Watchtower notifications (long overdue). Some of the logins are no longer relevant, but I'm not going to throw anything away. Never know when it's going to be good to see what has been. I can take info and parse it into a note, but is there a way to simply file an expired login so it doesn't show up under warnings or other login options? Eg for an account I don't have anymore, apart from parsing the info into a note.

Hi @Narius ,
What I have done with mine is move them to an Archive vault. I made a new Personal Vault and named it Archive. Then I moved all of my expired logins and other old items into that vault.
To make sure they don't automatically fill or show up in the Watchtower, I went to the Preferences, click All Vaults, and made sure the Archive vault is unchecked.
Now I have access to them when I need them, but they don't show up when I don't want to see them.
I recommend trying that, it should accomplish what you are looking for, and it's much easier than moving the data to a note.
Cheers,

Kevin, that is brilliant. I know that in the scheme of things multiple vaults are a new thing for 1p, but now that they exist I'm surprised that 1p doesn't set it up for new users to have exactly what you're describing. I'm going to feed your response back to the team since the no of expired sites continues to grow. Even after posting I found another company who no longer want you to log in, but you still need the pw and details if you change address or update. But the 1p program/watchtower is giving me a red flag on it so it needs to be acted on in some way
Anyway, thanks for your help/response.0 -
Honestly, for many people having a single vault is still best. It's simpler that way, and most folks use 1Password mainly in the browser, where they won't be confronted with the clutter of old, disused logins. While not everyone would necessarily appreciate this setup, the Archive vault idea definitely appeals to some, like you and I, who may be more meticulous than others. ;)
