1password erroneusly claims I have multiple copies of the app

I wanted to update to the latest version (I have 6.1 build 600005), but 1password won't let me, it tells me I have multiple copies.

However, I just have one copy, and it sits in /Applications/apps.

BTW, Can you make the version and build number in about this app selectable so one can simply copy/paste it?

    I’m sorry to hear that you’re having trouble with 1Password right now. Did the error message point you to the file locations of the supposed duplicate apps? I’d love to take a closer look at your system to see if we can determine where things are getting tangled up.

    You should be able to do so: in 1Password > About 1Password, the details should show a ‘Copy to Clipboard’ button.

    Are you seeing something different?

    Ah, I was not aware that I would create a publicly visible post with my support request.

    Anyway, I sent the report via email. In your text snippet about the diagnostics report, you might want to make the email address clickable ;-)

    No receipt yet, so I hope I won't forget to paste the support ID.
