Hi @soledadbrother,
Now one reason Safari will show that message is if the extension is already installed. It would be nice if Safari said it was stopping because the extension is already installed but sadly it just says can't install. Now the reason I mention that is because you say you have version 4.5.5 of the extension and that is the latest version. Is it possible you have it in Safari already? To check open up Safari's preferences and switch to the Extensions tab. Is there an entry in the list on the left hand side for 1Password and is the checkbox that says Enable 1Password ticked? If it is then the extension is correctly installed.
I see from your post that you have visited Wi-Fi Sync is not working. Can I ask what you've tried and what you haven't so far. Typically that message would suggest an issue with Bonjour which would either be resolved by restarting all the devices, possibly the router too as this would force all the devices to broadcast their presence again or maybe something is blocking Bonjour. It will be helpful to know what you've tried from that guide so we don't waste your time asking you to redo it
