Syncing issue between iMac, new Macbook Pro and iphone.

I'm not very technical I've read the support articles but I still can't figure this out. I've had 1 password for a while, first only old iMac and now on my year old iMac. It seems the sync between my iphone and iMac are working well. Have no idea how they are syncing but it seems to be working.

I got a new Macbook Pro last week and I'm going to a conference in a few days and I NEED the Macbook totally synced with my iMac. I installed 1Password on it and it says it's syncing with Dropbox but although it doesn't have any of the newer secure notes that are on the iMac 1Password.

I checked in preferences on both the imac and the new Macbook and both say they are syncing with Dropbox so why are they different? I could sync with iCloud I guess, does that work better? There are quite a few notes on the iMac that are NOT on my Macbook and I need them. I can also see that a number of logins aren't on the Macbook either.

I need to get this fixed quickly!

Thanks for any help!

Oh BTW: Both computers are running 1Password version 6.2 however.... one is from the app store (iMac) and it seems the Macbook is from AgileBits Store. Both computers are running OSX El Capitan - iMac 10.11.3 (will update it later today) and Macbook 10.11.4

    Hi @pixiegirl,

It's slightly overkill but it will get us the answers to help you quickly.

I would like you to create the a Diagnostic Report please, one for each Mac. This guide will assist.

Please do not post your Diagnostics Report in the forums

The email address you will want to use is support+forum@agilebits.com.

When sending the first diagnostic report to the address above it would help immensely if you could include a link to this thread and your forum handle so we can connect the two. For additional diagnostic reports please wait for the automated reply that will be forthcoming. If you either reply to that email or use the email subject as is it will allow our system to link the emails together as belonging to a single issue.

Once you've sent the reports a post here with the ticket ID will help us to keep an eye out for it. The diagnostic report will help us understand what and where the two copies of 1Password are syncing to and we should then be able to help get it so both are showing the same data. We can also help you with the two versions as well.

I'm not going to bother I ended up solving the problem myself. I deleted the apps, redownloaded and changed the sync to iCloud. Right now everything is syncing.
    Thank you!

Ah, excellent! Thanks for the update. I'm glad to hear that all is well. Indeed, if you're using only Apple devices, iCloud is really the easiest option. It sounds like you should be all set, but don't hesitate to reach out if we can be of further assistance. We're always here to help! :)
