Can't connect to mini but no problem
This is more of a comment. The last couple (few, maybe) updates to 1P always give the "can't connect to mini" error on first launch after the update is applied from the App Store. A subsequent launch appears to be successful (no error message) and 1P and 1P-mini seem to work fine. This is on two different machines. I am not worried but thought I would mention it here. I assume this is some OS X sandboxing issue that Agilebits is aware of.

@iphoneuser: I've encountered that once or twice myself. As you say, it doesn't appear to be a real problem. I suspect it's related to caching since it only occurs right after an update. Thanks for bringing this up, and be sure to let us know if you run into any further issues! :)
