How to switch from agile bits to opvault--I can't figure it out. Thanks.
None of my devices sync, and then I read that it's because they are on different vaults. I'm trying to figure out how to change the agile bits that's on my iMac to an opvault, but the instructions don't match what I see. I don't know how to delete the vault. I've disabled the Dropbox sync (by clicking on None), but don't know how to delete the vault. And then I need to figure out how to sync my iPhones, as well. If you can help with that that would be great. Thanks.
1Password Version: 6.2
Extension Version: 4.5.5
OS Version: 10.11.3
Sync Type: dropbox

@downthebunnyburrow88: Well, before we go nuts and start trying to move anything around, let's make sure we're on the same page. Please tell me the following:
- Where your 1Password data is stored — this could be a single device, or multiple. Be sure to include the OS, 1Password, and device versions.
- Where you'd like your 1Password data sync'd (all OS, 1Password, and device versions you'll be using).
Is it just iPhones you're syncing? And depending on your setup, you may want to consider 1Password Families. It does away with file formats and sync setup entirely, and makes securely sharing with your loved ones easy.
I don't know how to delete the vault. I've disabled the Dropbox sync (by clicking on None), but don't know how to delete the vault.
To be clear, when you disable Dropbox Sync, 1Password asks if you want to delete the vault as well. Did you? If not, simply locate it in your Dropbox folder and delete it manually.
Let me know what you find. I look forward to hearing back from you! :)

Hi Brenty,
Thank you--I guess I don't know where my 1password is stored. I thought it was on my Dropbox account. How can I figure it out?I have an iMac, a MacBook Pro, and multiple ipihones.
How is the Family Plan different besides the fact that I have to pay an annual subscription?
Thank you!

Ummm, I'm afraid to delete anything since I have so many passwords--it would be a pain to have to re-log into everything and figure out the passwords.

@downthebunnyburrow88: I'm sorry if I misunderstood. It sounded like you were asking how to delete your vault from Dropbox after disabling sync, since you wanted to switch from AgileKeychain to OPVault.

If you haven't yet disabled sync on all of those devices, you can find the path to the vault you're syncing with in Dropbox:
iOS: 1Password Settings > Sync > (Vault) > Sync Service
Mac: 1Password Preferences > Sync > (vault name on the left, details on the right)Once you know where the vault is located, you can easily drag it to the Trash on your Mac. So long as you have a backup of your data (and have it on multiple devices), there's no need to worry — and of course you can retrieve the vault from the Trash if needed.

1Password Families includes all of the 1Password apps for up to 5 family members (7, if you sign up by the 14th as an early adopter), you can easily share vaults with your loved ones, and each of you will have an account to login to so you don't have to setup sync settings or anything like that. Dropbox is great. I've used it for years (and will continue to do so to some extent), but 1Password Families is just simple. You also have 30 days to try it for free. Let me know if you have any other questions! :)
