I have used 1password on all my computers ipads iphones for years suddenly the app store wants to
charge me again and I cannot find a place to redownload the application for my imac
I have had it long enough that I don't even Know how many versions I have had
I have now spent 20 min on this which I really don't have today and frankly I am upset with the process

I think I can help you with this.
Do you think that it could be possible that your purchased a license from the AgileBits webstore and not the Apple Mac App Store? If you have a license code or file, than it's likely that you got that from the AgileBits Webstore. Unfortunately Apple does not honour that kind of license.
Thankfully, you can just download 1Password from the AgileBits webstore and apply your license file to that version.
