1Password for Mac doesn't automatically fill in login info

When I bought 1Password several years ago, it would fill in logins and passwords that I had saved for particular site. Now when I go to a site where I have a login, I need to type in my log in user name and password. Often I have to look up the password in 1password so it takes extra time. Otherwise, I love 1Password!

    @llamalover please tell us:

    • What browser you are using (and the version number of the browser)
    • The 1Password Browser Extension version
    • How you are trying to fill an item in your browser. (For example, are you clicking on open and fill in 1Password, or are you going first to the relevant page in your browser and then using the ⌘\ shortcut?)

    It worked! I'm using 4.5.5.90 and found it in Chrome as you suggested. I clicked the enable box. I used the ⌘\ shortcut, logged in to 1Password and it filled in the login information. I hadn't been able to find this info anywhere so this forum and your response helped. Thanks so much!

  • Great! Glad to hear you have it working. Thanks for the response, StephenC.
