Cannot reload 1 Password w/out repayment from App Store (MAC user)

After getting "1Password is damaged and cant be opened. Delete and download it again from App Store" I find doing this forces me to repurchase. How can I reload this w/out the App Store download? I have tried to restore but getting same error.
