Log in to web sites that support facebook or google
I access many sites that allow you to login using either your facebook or google accounts. How do i setup 1password to auto log in with these options? The attached screenshot shows an example of the Muc Off site. If i click the Facebook option it will automatically log me in not allowing me to save a login for this.

Hi @tigatone,
These sites that allow you to sign in with a Facebook or Google account are performing some magic of their own here, so there’s no way for 1Password to further automate the process. If you click the ‘Login with Facebook’ button and a sign-in window pops up, you can use 1Password to fill in your Facebook details, but there’s no way for 1Password to make this all happen automatically.
Now, because I enjoy 1Password’s filling so much, I tend to avoid using my Facebook or Google account for things like this, because it’s simple enough to just create a separate account and then let 1Password automate the sign in process for me. Of course, you’ll have to decide whichever option you think is simpler. :)

Thank you Megan for the reply. I was hoping there was a way to automate the button selection. This would allow me to setup the logins in 1password with my preferences, even if it is not entering the username and password

Hi @tigatone,
We run into the same problems when websites hide the sign in information behind a dropdown menu: that button needs to be clicked for 1Password to ’see’ the information that it needs to fill. I wish it was simple to ask an app to push a button on a webpage, but unfortunately it’s not. At least, not at this time.
I’m sorry I don’t have a better answer for you!
