Not consistently seeing items listed on ios under "Organize" folders
I manage my password data primarily on my Windows 7 desktop using iPassword v 1.0.9.342 and I organize everything into client folders. The data syncs correctly to my iPhone using DropBox.
On my iPhone, when I go into the "Organize" view and drill into my folders, I am not seeing 'all' my data correctly. The data does sync correctly to the iPhone and I know this because my total item numbers on the desktop and phone match. Also, I can find items that are missing from the "Organize" view listed under the the "Categories" view. There is no logic to the items that are missing under the "Organize" view but it seems to be mostly notes... With that said, some folders have their notes showing.
I have resynced multiple times to the iPhone. Still same results in "Organize" view on the iphone.
I've repaired the data via the Windows program. Still same results in "Organize" view on the iphone.
I have tested creating a new secure note using the same note content from a missing one (with revised title) and it shows up correctly on the iphone in "Organize" view.
I tested editing a note's title on Windows and it then does start correctly shows up in "Organize" view on the iPhone after syncing. If I only edit the copy of the note, it won't start showing on the iPhone.
Any help would be great to get my data showing correctly in Organize view without having to find and edit the titles of all missing items.

@MediaGirl: I think the problem may be due to the old version of 1Password for Windows you're using. 1Password 4 and later have information that older versions cannot read. If you're going to be syncing data between these, do not make changes in 1Password for Windows. If you do, they will not be read by 1Password 6, since it's using the newer format it uses. If you upgrade to 1Password 4, it's quicker to do, but if you re-save the items in 1Password 6, they should show up correctly. Let me know what you find!

All my data is syncing correctly to the iPhone from the database I manage on my Windows machine and I see it all in the "Categories" view correctly on the iPhone. I'm not seeing it all in the folders I have set up under the iPhone's "Organize" view.
Are you saying something in iPassword 6 is causing the items not to show correctly under the "Organize" view?

@MediaGirl: Ah yes, I'm sorry for the trouble! There are two possibilities here, so I'll go over both of those and we'll see which applies to your situation:
- Folders and other organizational features are only available in 1Password for iOS if you've purchased the Pro Features. You can, however, access any sync'd data through the main categories view or by searching.
- But if you've already purchased the upgrade and you're still running into this issue, that goes back to what I said above about the differences between the new and old versions. This is where it gets confusing:
Let's say you originally used 1Password for Windows version 1 to add Login item to your vault. No problem! 1Password for iOS version 6 can read the old format just fine. Everyone is happy! But then maybe you add a note to the Login item in 1Password 6. Still okay. 1Password 6 will also write the data in a way that is readable by the old app.
But this is where the trouble begins. 1Password 6 will write the data twice: once to the new section which supports all of the current features like custom fields, and again to the "legacy" section for compatibility. At this point, both new and old apps can read everything, since we've only modified the standard Notes field. So far so good, right?
But at this point, if you make any change to the item using the old app, it is only going to write it to the "legacy" section, since it doesn't know anything about the new stuff. So for example, you now assign the item to a folder...but when this change syncs back to 1Password 6, it sees the new section (which does not include the folder assignment because the old app only writes to the "legacy" section), and then you're left with an item you can access in 1Password 6 which appears to have "missing" information: the folder assignment.
Resaving the item in 1Password 6 will resolve the issue, and then just make sure you don't make further changes to data in the old version of 1Password, as it will be ignored in favour of the new section. After all, if the newer apps wrote to both sections, they wouldn't be able to use newer data types, since it isn't supported in the legacy format. I hope this helps!
