How do I delete the Primary vault?

I've converted to Families but my devices (including Mac) are still showing the Primary vault. Is there a way to remove that?

Also, can Family names and/or vaults be renamed?

Hi @mprusse,

Currently you can't delete it without starting over. There is an enhancement coming in a future 1Password for Mac update that will let you do that without starting over.

If you want to rename a vault:
1. login via your family's website
2. click on the family name in the top right corner of the window to bring up the menu of options
3. go into the admin console
4. click on the vaults tab
5. click on your vault
6. click the edit pencil next to the vault name

renaming family members should work in a similar way.

I'm not seeing this edit pencil. There's the word "Edit" at the bottom of the icon for the vault but that just brings up an open dialog box I'm guessing is for selecting a different icon.

Hi @mprusse,

It looks like you can only edit the name of custom vaults, Personal and Shared aren't customizable at this time.

It would look like this if you could edit it:
