If I sync by DropBox, should my iCloud iOS settings Documents and Data list include 1Password?

I just noticed that my iOS Documents and Data list in Storage & iCloud Usage settings includes 1Password. But I sync by Dropbox. So I'm not sure if this is normal or if I maybe synced once by iCloud and now there is residual data here. So maybe I should delete this. But I wanted to ask first. Thanks.

@ot7doc: If you put 1Password data in iCloud and never removed it, it would still be there. If you'd prefer to use Dropbox and clear the iCloud data, you can do this in 1Password Settings > Advanced > Erase iCloud Data. I hope this helps! :)

Thanks. I've done that now. But I still see 20+ MB for 1Password on my iPhone settings page under iCloud>Manage Storage, Documents & Data. Should I delete that since I'm syncing with DropBox and not iCloud?

  • @ot7doc,

Yes, but I'd recommend making a backup first:

Creating and restoring 1Password backups in iTunes (iOS)

I hope that helps. Should you have any other questions or concerns, please feel free to ask.
