I'm having the same problem. Bought the Pro-Version, bu can't use the app any more with my iPhone.

4 week ago (last sync to iPhone) no problems. Today I got the message:

"Sychronisierungsproblem. Synchronisierung fehlgeschlagen: Es gab eine Verzögerung beim Synchronisieren von 5 Minuten, die das Maximum von von 5 Minuten überschritten."

which means basically that the synchronisation failt because of a delay of 5 minutes that extends the maximum delay of 5 minutes. This message appears immediately after the synch process started. I also upgraded (PC and iPhone to the latest version. Iner changed the vault or any other setting during this 4 weeks.

I'm synching from my PC to my IOS devices. For security reasons no third party storage. The sync to both iPad is still working without problems.

@SmiteClash: The error you included in your comment is for Wi-Fi Sync, so I've split you off into separate discussion since that one was regarding Dropbox. You'll find this guide more helpful:

Since you mentioned that the "5 minutes" error is occurring immediately without any time having elapsed, it sounds like the date and time settings on your devices are off. Be sure to check those to make sure they match. Let me know what you find!

@brenty: Thanks for your reply. But as you can't switch off the date and time setting neither on the iPhone nor on a windows laptop the solution was different one: The time on my iPhone was set to manually. First setting the time to "General / Set Automatically" made the search for the time zone stuck. After some research on the net I found out that this happen when "Privacy / Location Service / System Service / Setting Time Zone" is off. Setting this "on" made the time zone to choose the correct city and time.

The windows notebook time is synced with "time.windows.com", so that wasn't an issue.

After both devices ran with the exact sam time the syn worked fine.

Ah, thanks for the update! I'm glad you were able to get it working. Indeed, authentication relies on client and server being on the same page, or the handshake will fail. It sounds like you should be all set, but we're here if you need anything else. Cheers! :)
