- Did you create a vault from inside 1Password for Mac?

If you created a vault from inside 1Password for Mac and you have forgotten your Master Password we cannot help. We do have a page I lost or forgot my Master Password. Help!. It may help.
The security of your vault is based on the fact that we cannot reset a Master Password. If you cannot remember it then the contents are lost. Teams and Families with more than one admin can help each other recover access because they share responsibility for the account. We designed 1Password so we couldn't reset a password. If we could the bad person could too and that is bad.
