Safari browser button opens a new window and does not work.

Hi, when I click my 1Passowrd button in Safari I get another tab open and a small window saying:

"Looking for the 1Password app

The 1Password app must be installed for the extension to work properly."

It is installed in Applications. Not sure what to do.

1Password Version: 6.2.1
Extension Version: 6.2.1
OS Version: OS X 10.11.4
Sync Type: Not Provided

    Hi @LosAngeles,

    I’m sorry to hear that you’re having trouble with 1Password. Let’s try something simple before getting into the serious troubleshooting.

    1. Go to 1Password and use ⌘⌃Q ( Command-Control-Q ) to fully quit the app.
    2. Restart your Mac.
    3. Open a browser window and click on the 1Password icon - does 1Password load correctly now?
