Feature Request: Introduce custom field types
If I recall correctly I can add custom fields for every entry since 1Password version 5 or 6. These fields have type which is by default »Text«. Other types are available like »Password«, »One-time password«, »URL« etc.
I find myself often adding strings which become a lot more readable if I space them into 2 to 4 characters or digits. Think of european banking account numbers, serial numbers, etc.
I suggest to add a new pane to the preference pane to customize and add new field types. For example I want to add a field type called »IBAN« (european banking account number) which inserts a space every 4 digits. So that's more readable within 1Password, but I need to copy it without the spaces, since most online banking websites have a fixed length.

@DASKAjA: Thanks for the feedback! I know that both of those things are things we can consider for a future version. Customizability is difficult since different people will expect different things from it, but it may be that we can find a way to make it useful and usable. Cheers! :)
