i ordered 1password with a macupdate program
i have this license code given in 2010 but i can't enter it.
can you help me how to add this into the1password software

The 2010 code would be for 1PW3 (or maybe even earlier). For a current 1PW you need a licence FILE (not a code), and will need to pay an upgrade price.
Go to the purchase page and you will find the upgrade option.
What version of the OS are you currently using? You are best advised to upgrade, but you might be able to use 1PW3, which can still be obtained from the legacy section at the bottom of the downloads page.

Hey @Bernard6666! It sounds like you have a 1Password 3 license, as danco mentioned. If you're on OS X Yosemite (10.10) or newer, you can use your current license to get a discounted upgrade to 1Password 6 at https://agilebits.com/store/upgrade. There will be a link in the receipt email titled "Click here to Apply Your 1Password License" and that's all you need to get things up and running. :) Let us know if you have any questions.
