I recently upgraded from an individual account to the family account. Today I received this email:
Hi Bruce. Your 1Password free trial has ended, and your account is now frozen. You can still subscribe at any time to get back to sharing with your family.

Thanks for taking the time to contact us. I'm sorry for any confusion.
It sounds like you were using the free trial of 1Password Families up until now. Once you add your credit card to your family account, that should resolve things for you.
- Sign in to your family account at 1password.com
- From the account menu, choose Billing.
- Add your credit card and select the plan you prefer.
