I am trying out the Vivaldi web browser based on Chrome. When I try to use the 1Password Extension, I get the following error message: "Cannot Fill Item in Vivaldi. Vivaldi is connected but its code signature could not be verified." When I click on the "View Troubleshooting Guide" and check out the information, none of it seems to apply to me. The path to the app is /Applications/Vivaldi.app and I run the following command in Terminal to check the signature, "codesign -v -v -d /Applications/Vivaldi.app/"

I get the following result:

"Executable=/Applications/Vivaldi.app/Contents/MacOS/Vivaldi
Identifier=com.vivaldi.Vivaldi
Format=app bundle with Mach-O thin (x86_64)
CodeDirectory v=20200 size=203 flags=0x800(restrict) hashes=3+3 location=embedded
Signature size=8545

Info.plist entries=34
TeamIdentifier=4XF3XNRN6Y
Sealed Resources version=2 rules=12 files=554

What is the problem here preventing me from using 1Password in Vivaldi? Thank you

Here is my additional Vivaldi information:

    Hi @smilinggoat,

    Thanks for reaching out to us for help using 1Password with the Vivaldi browser!

    The current stable release version of 1Password (6.2.1) doesn't support Vivaldi. However, we recently added support for Vivaldi in a beta version of 1Password. If you'd like to switch to the beta, you can do that by following the steps here: Using 1Password betas

    Sorry for any confusion about that! Hopefully this helps, but please let us know if you have any trouble with that, or if you have more questions. Cheers! :)

    @smilinggoat Do you have an ETA for production release?
    Is it possible to use the beta browser extension with the production 1Password app?

    Hi @Phillip Boushy”,

    We don’t generally announce ETAs for production releases, but we try to have releases frequently to ensure that fixes and new features get out to users quickly. :)

    Is it possible to use the beta browser extension with the production 1Password app?

    It is possible to use the beta of either the browser extension or the 1Password app - you don’t need to use the beta on both if you don’t want to. In this case, however, you’ll want to upgrade to the beta of the main app, since code signature verification is handled there.

    I hope this helps, but we’re here if you have any further questions or concerns.
