Desktop App included?

Welcome to the forums, @Sunshine. :)
Right now a subscription to 1Password Families gives you access to the 1Password apps for Mac, iOS, and Android, as well as the 1Password.com website and the 1Password for Windows 10 beta. You also get access to the Pro Features -- extra tools available in the mobile apps -- at no cost. Unfortunately, there isn't currently a connection to 1Password for Windows 4 (the legacy app) but our dev team is hard at work to bring the full 1Password Families experience to our Windows customers. I hope that answers your question!

Hi nmott,
i am aware that is no support for the (old, Windows 4) legacy app.
But the coming version 5, 6 or 7 is included?0 -
@Sunshine my understanding is that you will have access to all the 1Password apps included when you sign up for 1Password Families or 1Password for Teams, and that any upgrades made to those apps will also be included. That's one of the benefits of signing up for those services: Instead of having to worry about purchasing a license for a new version of 1Password, you'll automatically have access to the latest-and-greatest releases as part of the subscription.

nmott is spot on. The subscription includes all of our compatible apps. 1Password 4 for Windows isn't included because it isn't compatible with 1Password Families (there is no way to login to your account thus unlocking the trial into the full app). When we have further options available on Windows that are compatible with the service, they will be included with the subscription.

So, quick question... since we can't really use the Windows Beta app as is, why can't we at least use the old Windows App in the meantime? Even if it means some additional housekeeping work on our end, it would at least allow us to use the product. Seem like the right move would be to give all paying family customers a Windows license.
