my 1password app will not give me the option to use my touch id to open the vault.

I could not remember my master passcode so I ended up deleting all my info with the app, restarted the app and was going to start all over. I am able to use it now and re-enter all my passcodes but to open the main vault I have to put in the passcode instead of using touch id. I would like to enable touch id. I have gone to phone settings and 1password settings and it looks to be turned on. I have iphone 6s and was using it with the first app I downloaded

Please check Settings > Advanced > Security as well as Settings > Security.
