Password generator query
Hi
We have a good choice of options within the password generator now, and I have always wanted to know which is considered stronger, words or characters?
I never really know what to choose when I create a new generated password for setting up a new website account.
I guess both have advantages/disadvantages but is the newer diceware words best to use where possible?
Thanks

Hi @telUK,
If you're interested in different kind of passwords and how they compare to each other, I'd recommend you to listen to this presentation by Jeff Goldberg, our Chief Defender Against the Dark Arts and security expert:

The short answer is: while random character passwords are a bit more secure, dice ware passwords are a perfect option for when you have to type or remember them!
Please let us know what you think of all this and if you have any other questions!
