Lauching SSH connections automatically

I can't get this to work, I always have to copy&paste my password manually and hit enter to submit.

As a second question, would there be a way to have the App Prompt by Panic do this on iOS?

1Password Version: 6.2.1 (621002)
Extension Version: 4.5.5
OS Version: 10.11.4
Sync Type: DropBox & 1P Families

  • Hey @Michael Tennes! Sorry for the confusion. It's only for launching the connections, I'm afraid, not authenticating them as well. We'd love to add this at some point, but it'd be part of a sweeping feature that fills native apps, which has been requested quite a few times and is quite the challenge.

To answer your second question, I use Prompt on iOS — great app, by the way — and while there's not a way to open a connection directly from 1Password, there's something even better: Support for the 1Password extension. Once you fill out your server details on the Quick Connect screen, tap the key icon, then tap 1Password > 1Password, unlock your vault, and choose the item for your server. Try it out and let me know what you think. :)
