Touch ID does not work with iPad Air2 Touch ID.
IPad Air 2 with iOS 9.3.1 requires 6 digit passcode when I enable Touch ID. 1Password v 6.4 only allows me to put in 4 digits so every time it says "wrong password" and I have to enter the master password. Any fix?

You're correct, the current version of iOS defaults to a 6 digit passcode. However, since you've got iPad Air 2 which includes Touch ID, you shouldn't even be able to enter a 1Password PIN code (that option is available only to devices without Touch ID). So could you please post some screenshots of the unlocking step (you can take a screenshot by pressing both home & sleep buttons simultaneously). Also make sure you're using the latest 1Password version by going to App Store in your iPad and then switch to Updates tab.

Hi @CharleyM,
As ollifi mentioned, 1Password shouldn't be prompting you for a PIN code if Touch ID is supported/enabled on your device. But regardless of that, if 1Password is asking for a PIN code, that's a completely different PIN code than the one you set up to unlock your iPad. It would be one that you had set up in the 1Password security settings, and would only apply to 1Password.
If you unlock 1Password and go to Settings > Security, which option do you see underneath 'Lock on Exit' and 'Auto-Lock'? The next option should be either for the PIN code or Touch ID. If that option is enabled, you can try turning it off and back on again to see if that helps.
If it's still a problem, ollifi's suggestion to post a screenshot is a good one, and that would be helpful for us to see exactly what you're seeing. If you need any help to take a screenshot, you can find steps on this site: http://take-a-screenshot.org/
In addition to the screen asking for your PIN, it might also be helpful if you can take a screenshot of the Settings > Security screen from 1Password (don't worry - that screen shouldn't have any personal data). To include screenshots in your reply, simply click the document button in the top of the comment field, and select the file you wish to share:
Thanks in advance! :)

Thanks. I hadn't properly enabled touch ID in 1Password on my iPad. Seems fine now. Just to check, it seems that the 1st time I use 1P after I power on the iPad it requires the master password. After that, touch id works. I presume that's how it should be?
