I restored my iPhone and downloaded 1password. I think I lost everything.

I thought this was an app that saved all my password information. After restoring my iPhone to factory settings I downloaded 1password expecting to put a username and password in to get everything back. I was surprised to find out it was asking me for a team or family password. Im a bit confused by this. Where are all my passwords stored? It took me weeks to set this up.

    Hi @nycityinsomniac,

I'm sorry to hear about the issues that you encountered with 1Password. There are two ways in which you can use 1Password. The first one is to have a subscription to 1Password Families or Teams. This is a hosted service, your data is stored in the cloud and as a pretty new alternative.

It sounds like you were using 1Password in the traditional way. In this case all your data is Stored on your devices. Were you syncing your iPhone with any other device? If you were you'd be able to find your data there and sync it back to your iPhone. If you weren't, I'd recommend you to check if you had a back up of your data on iCloud or iTunes, this article by apple will help you figure it out.

I hope this helps you, please let us know how it all turns out for you! :chuffed:
