Hi,

I imported a 1pif folder from another mac, and the attachments were not included. The safenotes containing the attachments imported successfully. Please advise?

Thanks!

  • Hi @24601 ,

I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble importing the attachments. I have a few questions that should help diagnose the issue:

    1. When you look in the 1pif folder, do you see the attachment files there?
    2. Are you able to view the attachments on the other Mac?
    3. If you export just the one item with an attachment, and export that, does it import with the attachment?

    Thanks,
    Kevin

    Hi Kevin,

    Thanks for your quick response.

    (1) Yes. They're Attachments/sub-folders with long alphanumeric names.
    (2) I was able to access the attachments at the time of export. I no longer have access to that mac.
    (3) Can't do it anymore with the source machien

  • Hi @24601 ,

Thanks for the information. To see what went wrong, I'd like to ask you to create a Diagnostics Report from your Mac:

    Sending Diagnostics Reports (Mac)

Attach the Diagnostics Report(s) to an email message addressed to support+forum@agilebits.com. Also include the date/time (as accurate as you can remember) when you attempted the import.

Please do not post your Diagnostics Report(s) in the forums, but please do include a link to this thread in your email, along with your forum handle so that we can "connect the dots" when we see your Diagnostics Report(s) in our inbox.

You should receive an automated reply from our BitBot assistant with a Support ID number. Please post that number here so we can track down the report(s) and ensure that this issue is dealt with quickly. :)

Once we see the report we should be able to better assist you. Thanks very much!

    Regards,
    Kevin
