I am not techno savvy and I do not understand this jargon. Can't get into 1Pw on my iPhone. Help.

Have had 1PW on my iPad since 2015, my Mac since 2016. Easy to get into. Not so with my new phone. Recently downloaded it to my iPhone, but I do not know how to get to my information. I can't sign in, can't use without an account, don't know what create new vault is now how to sync with iCloud, Dropbox or Wi-Fi. I don't understand any of this. Can someone please help me? Thanks.

Hi @jromard,

I'm sorry about the confusion that 1Password has caused you! You only have an account if you have a subscription to 1Password Families or Teams, but it sounds like you're using the standalone version of the apps. First of all you need to figure out which syncing method you're using. To do this, pelase go to 1Password on your Mac, click Preferences and then Sync. This will let you see whether you're syncing with Dropbox or iCloud.

When you open 1Password on your iPhone click on "Use without an account". Then "Sync with Dropbox/iCloud" depending on what you found out in your Mac. You can then follow the steps on this guide for the right kind of syncing.
