We are happy to announce that custom groups are now available in 1Password Teams! You can create new groups in the Admin Console.

Here is what is new in Build 124:

  • [NEW] Teams can now create custom groups! {1575}
  • [NEW] Annual plans that add or remove users will have billing adjusted (be billed) at the end of each day.
  • [IMPROVED] Document items can now be moved/copied between vaults.
  • [IMPROVED] We now run cursory tests in the browser to determine if 1Password will function properly there, rather than sniffing the browser's user agent string. {487}
  • [IMPROVED] Improved family role selector on person detail pages. {1108}
  • [IMPROVED] For admins, seeing "shared vaults" could be confusing since not all vaults are necessarily shared. They're now just "vaults", and the Vaults tab of the Admin Console shows all vaults except the user's Personal vault, which cannot be managed anyway. {1547}
  • [FIXED] A bug where we weren’t sending out an email on a failed payment if no card was added. {1588}
  • [FIXED] Fixed an issue where the "Open" and "Copy" buttons for an item's website field may be cut off in Safari. {1582}
  • [FIXED] A recent change caused an obscure message to be shown when sign in failed. Now it's a bit more clear. {1604}
  • [FIXED] Fixed problem with group-based vault access that caused issues in client apps. {1560}
