I've gotten myself very confused
So, I've been using 1password for years and years and sync using dropbox. Today I switched from Android to Iphone and haven't been able to figure out how to sign in. The help docs seemed to have directed me to make a team account, so I did that, but I'm not sure how to reconcile my team acct and my existing personal account that I have synced with dropbox.
HALP! I just want to get 1password working on my new iphone!

When you start 1PW on the iPhone (not sure if you will ned to delete and reinstall as you have attempted to use it) the first option is to sign in to a Families/Teams account, but further down is an option to Use Without Account. That's the one that is the same as previous use.

I'm sorry that 1Password got confusing, but I'm sure we'll get you up and running in no time! What danco said is correct. You created a 1Password Teams account, but it seems to me that what you want is to use the app and sync it yourself. You'll need to delete the app from your phone and reinstall it. Then when you open it click on "Use without an account", the next screen will prompt you to set an syncing method and you can pick Dropbox. You can find the detailed guide to set up Drobox sync here.

Yes, I eventually figured it out. The "use without an account" was confusing because in my mind I do have an account - it's just my own account. I appreciate the help everyone!
