I just upgraded to El Capitan, now my 1 password version 4 will not launch.
I just updated to El Capitan IOS on my mac book air. Now my 1password will not launch. I restarting but still the application would not start. Then I tried going through the extension on chrom but it would not open because it did not find the computer application. I was using this fine yesterday but now can not open.

Thanks for asking this question.
So, 1Password 4 will not work in El Capitan at all. Development on 1Password was stopped several years ago and it is not compatible with the current Mac OS X. Thankfully, since you are running 1Password 4 the license will work with 1Password 6 at no additional cost to you. :chuffed:
So assuming you have the webstore version of 1Password (downloaded from the Agilebits webstore and not the Apple App Store) you should download and install the latest version of 1Password at this webpage here.
Just make sure to drag your old version of 1Password to the trash.
