Want to migrate to a Family Account

I have a 1password account for many years (license holder) and want to migrate to a family account. How does this work? Do I have to sign up to a new family account?

Hi @kurt_stefan_160567,

I'm glad to hear that you're interested in 1Password Families! The concept of an account only exists when talking about 1Password Families or Teams. If you've been using 1Password for years, then you have a license but not an account and you do need to create one. Once you have your new account you can add it to 1Password and migrate your data into your new account in a very easy process.
