1Password/Agilebits' employee leaks or compromises
I am interested in purchasing this service, however I was unable to find answers to the following questions:
What protections are in place to keep the 1password/Agilebits employees from leaking (intentional or accidental) the code for this security software?
Who has full access to hosted services?
I have encountered more security compromises based on accidents (human error) than other types.

Hi @MADRandy,
Thanks for taking the time to write in with this important question.
The short answer is that AgileBits employees do not have access to the items you store in 1Password. The data is all encrypted on your device before being sent to our service. Even if we were to turn the code for the service over, or if one of our employee accounts were compromised, there is no way to get any customer 1Password items with that information.
The much longer answer is available here:
1Password White Paper
This is an in-depth document detailing the multiple layers of security that protect your confidential data when using our services (1Password Families or 1Password Teams).
Thanks!
Ben
