iOS - Share Sheet does not show Messages, Mail, etc.

Hello -

When I attempt to share a 1Password login via the Share Sheet, Messages, Mail, and other native apps do not show as options. Rather, only third-party apps show (ones I have previously chosen to be shown).

This has happened on 2 of my iPhones, as well as an iPad. All up-to-date.

Thanks!

I too am having this problem, as is my missus. She wanted to send me a login she had created and it only gave her the choice of third-party apps (which incidentally didn't work)

    Hi @LKlieger and @t22design ,

This issue is resolved in the latest 1Password for iOS beta, and barring any unforeseen circumstances, the fix should be included in the next stable update (although I don't have a timeframe for when that will be available).

Thanks, @Megan! In the meantime, is there a workaround?

    Hi @LKlieger,

Unfortunately, at this time the only workaround is to copy the information and paste it into the email or text message. Obviously, there are security risks here and we don’t really recommend it. It’s important to note that there is some encryption built into Apple’s Messages, but only if that message is sent as a Message and not an SMS.

If there’s someone that you frequently share items with, a shared vault might be a better solution.

    Hi @LKlieger,

We’ll do all we can to get the fix version available for users soon.
