One credit card will not show up in mobile from laptop
I have one credit card with a new number. I updated it in the laptop but the new card wont show up in my iphone. I deleted the old credit card with the old number in the iphone but no difference. I deleted and reloaded the iphone app, made sure the vaults were correct, still nothing.

Hi @mikeG229,
I’m sorry to hear that you’re having trouble with 1Password. Thanks for being so clear about the steps that you’ve already tried to get this fixed up.
First of all, I’ve got a silly little thing I’d like you to check: when you updated the item on your laptop, did you save the edit? With 1Password, if you move away from an item without saving the changes, the item is held in Editing mode. Changes that you’ve made are saved locally (so you don’t lose them), but they won’t be synced until you finalize the edit.
Next, let’s do a quick test:
- Create a test entry on your Mac ("Test, Mac") and add some data
- Create a test entry on each of your mobile devices ("Test, mobile") and add some data
- Does "Test, Mac" show up on either of your mobile devices?
- Does "Test, mobile" show up on your Mac?
Please let me know the results of this little experiment.

The new test from the iphone does not show on the mac and the new item on the mac does not show on the iphone.

Hi @mikeG229,
Hmm, if neither test is showing up where it should then sync is definitely tangled up somehow.
I’ve got a few more things for you to check out here:
- Please ensure that Dropbox is installed and running on your computer
- Check that you are logged in with the same account on all computers and devices
- Confirm that Dropbox sync is selected in 1Password > Preferences > Sync on your Mac
- Confirm that Dropbox is selected in Settings > Sync on your iOS device
- Confirm that both your Mac and iOS device are reading from the same file path in Dropbox.

In the 1password folder there are 2 files, one is "1Password.agilekeychain", the other is "1Password.opvault". Which is correct? The Mac wants to use the op. The iphone wants the other.

It looks as though I need the op file as the primary for both, installing and syncing now. Stand by
