Have 1Password on iMac for years. Now have new iPad synced by iCloud. It doesn' work.
1Password on iMac works fine. Now have iPad and have synced w/ iCloud. Do not see the 1Pw key on any pages, and it does not ask to keep manually entered password in the vault. Have tried suggested solutions like dragging it onto tool bar but iPad tool bar does not look like iMac's tool bar. It did work one time and asked about saving the password, but I have not seen the "key"again.
1Password Version: 6.1
Extension Version: 4.5.6
OS Version: 10.11.5
Sync Type: iCloud

Hi @hbusher20142,
1Password works differently on iOS than it does on Mac. In order to set up the extension in 1Password for iOS, please have a look at our user guide:
Using the iOS extension

I followed your instructions and again, for the third time, set up the extension. Still no "key" shows up on the tool bar and when I am asked to enter my password on a web page there in no sign of 1Password, and I have to look it up in the vault and enter it manually. I think I have tried everything in your user guide. Should I uninstall and reinstall 1 Password.?

@hbusher20142: Sorry for the confusion! 1Password can't "install" an extension into a browser on iOS like you can do on a computer. Instead, you'll need to enable the 1Password extension in the Share [ ↑ ] menu. Once you do that, you'll have a 1Password "keyhole" icon right in the Share menu that you can use to access your logins:
Filling in Safari
I hope this helps! :)

I do have the 1 password extension enabled. I have done it 4 times and the 1 password button does not show up on any Safari web page that I open--Vanguard, AT&T, Amazon, etc. I have to open the vault and then enter it manually. It works perfectly on my Mac.

Due to restrictions enforced by Apple 1Password on iOS unfortunately works less seamless than on a Mac; you need to perform several manual steps (open share menu, select 1Password, unlock1Password, select credentials) when logging in on a web page in Safari:

@hbusher20142: Indeed, iOS works differently than OS X does. There won't be a 1Password button in Mobile Safari's toolbar, and 1Password cannot open on its own. You'll need to go to the Share [ ↑ ] menu and select 1Password from there. Cheers! :)
