Did the 1P extension disable itself for security reasons?

I recently received an email from my boss that was a phishing attempt. It invited me to contribute to a shared Google Docs folder, and clicking on the "Open in Docs Sheets" button redirected to this URL: http://bit.ly/1Ocjlum. I did click the button on my iPhone, and I couldn't understand why 1P didn't appear in the Share menu to fill in the password. Stupidly, I went ahead and did it manually. Did the 1P extension not load because of the weirdness of the page, or because the page failed some security check?

    Hi @odysseus,

1Password does have safeguards in place to protect against phishing attacks, however, it shouldn’t disappear completely.

1Password protects you from phishing attempts by matching the web address that you’re viewing with the web address that you have saved in your item details. So, for Google, you may have saved https://accounts.google.com/Login or https://accounts.google.com/ServiceLoginAuth. If you are viewing a web page that is different than the web addresses you have saved (something like the URL that you shared), 1Password will not offer your Google items as a match.

But my comment was that 1P didn't appear in the Share menu. Was that a fluke?

Are you sure you were in the Safari app, and not the Google Docs / Google Drive app?
