How do I type in my license key?

I found myself in a Catch-22 the other day. I had wiped out my keychain, and when I started 1Password it wanted me to type in my license key. (1) I thought I was in a Catch-22, since my licenses were stored in 1Password synced with Dropbox, and I couldn't remember my Dropbox account either, but (20 after resolving that I discovered that my 1P license key is actually not in 1P, so how can I see it to put it somewhere where I can get to it independently?

    Never mind — I thought I hadn't found anything on the site when I searched for this but I had stumbled on https://support.1password.com/extract-license-key/ without realizing it. Sorry. Maybe the post will help someone else with this problem.
