    Hi @Kgken,

Your email address has no affect on syncing your 1Password data to an Android device.

Rather the method you have setup Syncing on your iPad will determine how you get the Android device setup.

There are a number of ways to setup syncing that you can read about here:
    https://support.1password.com/sync-options/

Once you determine how you have setup syncing on the iPad you will need to set it up the same way on the Android device and use the same Master Password to access it.

If you have more questions please reply back with how you have setup syncing on your iPad.

    Hi @Kgken,

What @rogerdodger said is correct! I just want to mention that the only syncing method that you have between Android and iOS is Dropbox, as iCloud only works between Apple devices and WiFi sync can only be set up between a desktop and a mobile device. You can find the instructions to set up Dropbox sync on both platforms on the link rogerdodger mentioned before.

Please let us know how this goes for you and if there's anything else that we can help you with! :chuffed:

So what you are saying, I will not be able to link iPad and Android together because they are both mobile devices, is this true or am I just not reading this correctly.

    Hey @kgken,

I apologize for any confusion. I totally spaced that iCloud is Apple only. You can sync the iPad and Android together using the Dropbox sync method.

First set it up on your iPad following these instructions:
    https://support.1password.com/guides/ios/sync-with-dropbox.html

Then on Android follow these instructions to connect to the sync file you created above:
    https://support.1password.com/guides/android/settings-sync.html#sync-with-an-existing-vault

If you need information on how to setup Dropbox on iPad take a look at Dropbox's page here:
    https://www.dropbox.com/ipad

If you need information on how to setup Dropbox on Android take a look at Dropbox's page here:
    https://www.dropbox.com/android

Another option you may want to consider is the 1Password Family account as syncing is incorporated by default there which may make things easier for you:
    https://1password.com/families/

  • Hey @Kgken. As rogerdodger pointed out, Dropbox syncing is the easiest way to sync between Android and iOS. Please follow the instructions linked above and let us know if you have any further questions or problems. Thanks!
