I have 3 devices that I am having a problem getting synced. I have checked the preferences and they say they are all syncing the same location (Dropbox). But there are a number of logins that I can't access depending on what device I'm on. Please help :)

1Password Version: 6.3.1
Extension Version: Not Provided
OS Version: OS X El Capitan
Sync Type: Dropbox

    Hi @MarieTrejo ,
I'm sorry to hear that you are having problems viewing your logins in 1Password.
If I understand correctly, you can see some of your login information on all of your devices, but not all logins. Is that correct?

There are a couple of questions to be answered to obtain a better overview of your problem:

    • Which are the three devices that you are using?
    • Your post is under the IOS section of the forum — which IOS version are you using?
    • Which version of 1Password do you have on these devices?
    • If you go to the Mac that you originally installed 1Password on — can you see all of your logins?
    • If you click on the menu in the top left hand corner of your 1Password window (on your Mac) do you see multiple vaults?

Sorry for so many questions, but I'd like to better understand your problem.

    Cheers,
    Rob

@MarieTrejo: While it's definitely good news that your vault is making it to Dropbox in the first place, just as important is that each device is using the same Dropbox account, but also the same vault in Dropbox. If not, they'll be syncing alright, but not with each other!

In 1Password on each device, what is the path shown to the vault in Dropbox? If any of these don't match, that would explain why changes on one don't make it to the other(s). Also, be sure to follow the steps in this guide to narrow down where the problem lies:

    Dropbox troubleshooting

And as rjh mentioned, it will be helpful to know which OS and 1Password versions you're using on all devices. Please let me know what you find. I look forward to hearing back from you! :)

    Desktop - OS X El Capitan (6.3.1)
    Lapton - OS X El Capitan (6.3)
Iphone - iOS 9.3.2 (not sure - where do I find that?)

The laptop and phone look like they are syncing but the desktop does not have all logins. I see multiple vaults except for on the iphone.

Laptop, iphone and desktop show they are syncing with Dropbox - Online Safety (folder in dropbox) - Agilebits.....

    Thanks for your help :)

    Hi @MarieTrejo,

Thanks for getting back to us! I know, we’ve been asking a lot of questions here, thanks for your patience as we work to get to the bottom of this.

I see multiple vaults except for on the iPhone.

Do you have multiple vaults set up on purpose? If you only want one vault with all of your data, seeing multiple vaults would explain why things are a little bit tangled up right now - each of those vaults might be syncing to a different location.

Did you have an opportunity to go through the Dropbox troubleshooting article that Brenty shared?

I have multiple vaults because we have a team account and I'm the admin.

I messed with something on Dropbox and it seemed to fix the problem! I created some new logins on my laptop yesterday and I can see them on all 3 devices now!! :) yay!

I still don't see the vaults on my phone but the logins are there.

    Thanks!
