Getting Growl notification of successful backup with Growl disabled; backups in 2 locations

For some time, I've been noticing an old "Growl-type" notification of 1Password backups, even though I have Growl disabled. (See attached image file.) Looking through the forum comments, it sounds as if these notifications of successful backups were removed some time back. Poking around in my Library folder, I find that I have current backups in two locations: ~/Library/Application Support/1Password/Backups and ~/Library/Application Support/1Password 4/Backups. This makes me wonder if I have an old version or partial version of 1Password running in parallel with the current version. (I've been using 1Password for a LONG time--great software!)

If this is the case, how do I "clean out" the non-current software?

    Hi @ra2

1Password hasn't looked like that for a while now, so it does seem like you have 1Password 3 installed somewhere interfering with your computer! This guide will help you uninstall the extra copies you might have.

In general, you want to open Finder, and search for 1Password on Applications, you should be able to see the extra copies there.

Please let us know how this goes for you and if you stop getting the notification after deleting 1Password 3! :chuffed:

Looks like I have only 1Password 6 installed as an app, but I do have 1PasswordAgent 3.8.21 running, as shown in the 1PasswordAgent.log file:

It is odd that the log mentions the Mac App Store version, because I am pretty sure I'm using the Agile Bits store version.

    Will it be sufficient to delete ~/Library/Application Support/1Password/Agent/1PasswordAgent.app ? Or should I delete ~/Library/Application Support/1Password? I also have ~/Library/Application Support/1Passwd and ~/Library/Application Support/1Password 4 folders.

    Thanks!
