Hi @mark_tyndall,
Thanks for reaching out to us for help!

Just to make sure I understand: When you created the new password in 1Password, did you also go through steps to update your Apple ID password on Apple's website? If not, Apple would have no idea that you've changed your password, so it would still be expecting you to enter the old one.
In your Login item for your Apple ID, you should see a section for 'Previously Used Passwords'. Tap on that and you'll be able to view and/or copy the previous password, and you can try using that to sign into the App Store. Does the previous password work?

There are a few options for syncing your 1Password data between your two iOS devices. If you've signed up for a 1Password Teams or 1Password Families account, just sign into the same account in 1Password on both devices and your data will automatically sync via our secure servers. If you don't have a Teams/Families account, you can use Dropbox or iCloud to sync your data. We have more information about the sync options here: Sync your 1Password data
I hope that helps. Please let us know if you have more questions about that! :)

Dear Drew
Thank you for this! I now have the Apps installed working and syncing (using iCloud) on my iPhone and iPad. My next challenge is to get the App installed on my desktop. This I have done, (its on a Windows 7 operating system), but I can't get it to sync with my hand held devices. could you please explain what I need to do?
thank you

Hi @mark_tyndall,
I'm glad to hear that helped and you were able to sync your iPhone and iPad with each other!
Unfortunately, 1Password for Windows doesn't support syncing via iCloud. That option will only work between Macs and/or iOS devices, as explained in our sync guide: Sync your 1Password data
To sync between Windows and your iOS devices, you can sign up for a Teams/Families account, or sync via Dropbox or Wi-Fi. You can find more information about each of those sync options in the above support article.
Sorry for the confusion about that! You didn't mention Windows in your original message so I thought you only needed to sync between two iOS devices. If you need any help to set up one of those sync options, please let us know! :)
