I want to have my normal primary vault with logins and stuff WIFI synced and able to be unlocked with TouchID. However, I want a second DOCUMENTS vault that has it's own master password (and hidden if possible). Both Synced by WIFI to IOS.

PS: another question is there a way to add a PIN to the Touch ID when used on a vault ??

The reason I'd want to do this, and many others is we have our normal vault storing our everyday passwords, that's ok to have our thumb unlock. However, I want to store a lot of personal documents and ID and CC information in a separate vault that would need much better security, more than someone holding the thumb on the device!

@1P_NewUser: Sorry for the confusion! It isn't possible to have 1Password require a separate Master Password for each vault. The app itself will unlock using the Primary vault's Master Password (or that of a 1Password Account). It's a feature we can consider in the future, but we don't have any plans to do this currently.

To be clear, Touch ID won't allow "someone holding the thumb on the device" to unlock 1Password. Only the fingerprints you register in iOS Settings > Touch ID & Passcode will work. And you can also customize your security settings in 1Password itself or use "Lock Now" to require the Master Password if your concerned that someone may "borrow" your finger to unlock it without your permission.

Personally though, I prefer using Settings > Advanced > Require Master Password > After Device Restart. That way I can quickly power down my device to render Touch ID useless — both for 1Password and the device itself — until I enter my password again. Cheers! :)

Yes, I was worried about being forced to apply my finger to the phone. I live in the 3rd world. :)

That's a bummer I really want to put everything in to 1P but I can't have it so easily accessible. Id rather it not even be so obvious that it's there. Oh well.

    Thanks!

@1P_NewUser: This is, unfortunately, a very real concern for people all over the world. :(

I think it's important to keep in mind that with iOS full disk encryption, passcodes, and the ubiquity of these devices, the assumption will always be that we have valuable information on our phones. Governments and criminals are going to want access even if they don't see 1Password or know what it is. And while that puts us in a terrible position in a worst-case scenario (one that I hope neither of us ever find ourselves in), the encryption means that it's up to us: an attacker won't be able to decrypt it without our cooperation, so we can choose how far we're willing to go to protect our secrets. Chilling, but there's noting more powerful than free will. No one can ever take that away from us. :)

Good points but I was considering literally carrying every important document in my life, and maybe even less important things in 1P for the sake of having at my finger tips. I don't need it to be impossible to find but I don't want to be opening the keys to the castle every-time just to get my gmail password. I'm sure you understand what I mean.
